Our Service...
We've
all been there; we book some time away or something
crops up which means we're going to be away from home for a while.
We cancel the milk, postpone the newspapers, ask the neighbours
if they'll keep an eye on your home. But what about your pets? Who
can you ask without feeling like you're a burden or that you'll
'owe them a favour in return' (and all of a sudden your gerbil doesn't
seem quite so ferocious as you thought when face-to-face with their
bird eating spider!).
Here
at Purrfect Holidays we will look after and care for your pet as
if it was our own. We don't have any clinical or anonymous premises
- we will give as much attention and love to your pet in our family
home as if they were home with you. In this friendly and lively
environment, your furry friend will be stimulated and kept amused
at all times and never, ever left alone. If you have an elderly
furry friend, then we have a quiet, restful area for them, too.
They will be treated with respect at all times and cared for gently
and tenderly.
We
ask you to provide your pet's usual diet and any treats (so as not
to upset their routine), together with any cleaning products or
bedding you prefer to use and any toys to help them settle in. If
you want us to text you during your time away to let you know how
your friend is getting on, we will be delighted to reassure you!
Our
rates are low because, for us, the pleasure comes from caring for
your friend and welcoming them into our home.
We
will care for your friend for a daytime period, overnight, a few
days, a week and more. Whatever care they need in your absence,
we will endeavour to replicate that love you give them. Please view
our 'Pets and Rates' page for an indication of costs. If you are
in any doubt, please don't hesitate to contact us at any time.
Please
note that we look after no more than two pets at any one time, ensuring
your friend gets maximum attention at all times - we are not a boarding
facility, your pet will be cared for in a loving, family environment.
Latest
News: We now have a very friendly (and easily intimidated!!)
dog living with us! Be please assured that under no circumstances
will Bob be left alone with your pet and will be supervised at all
times. We've found that Bob is terrified of anything that squeaks,
rustles, moves or whistles and prefers to hide under the table rather
than go and say hello!!
